"Hello Camilla!

We are getting married in the beautiful chapel at Holmenkollen, overlooking the city of Oslo and the fjord. After the ceremony our guests will be transported by bus to an old 17th century farm where we will have our dinner in a big tent and the following party in the barn. We picture a rustic wedding with lots of DIY, colours and so much fun!! Now we are just looking for someone to capture it all for us. Your work is amazing! :) Your photos tell stories and capture the atmosphere so beautifully. You are just what we are looking for"

This is what Karoline and Alfred wrote when they first contacted me about their wedding day, and needless to say I would have gone to any lenght to shoot their wedding. A rustic Norwegian farm, mountains and woods, the whole family pulling together with diy projects to make it all come to life, two people deeply in love. It was beautiful. I have spent many childhood vacations in Norway in both summer and winter, and feel like it is my second country. It always feels like coming home somehow. Karoline and Alfred and their friends and families also made me feel welcome and at home, and their wedding day was everything they and I had hoped for. So much love and so much fun. This is their story:
