Being a wedding photographer is an emotional job, not only because I invest so much of myself in my business, my work and in my relationship with my couples. But also because my job is to capture a day in my clients' lives where they are full of emotion, a day when they are 'raw' and 'exposed' somehow. My clients let their guard down comepletely by letting me capture such an emotional day.
Several times during the short ceremony Guney had to clasp his face with his shaking hands, and when the registrar finally said the words, "I now pronounce you husband and wife", he looked as though he could hardly believe it. As he and Linn kissed and hugged eachother tightly, as if they never wanted to let go, the tears started to swell in my eyes. It was an honour to photograph their elopement here on ærø, to capture their love and their tender generous spirit.
