Whether you are just starting out and don't even have a website yet, or you have been shooting weddings part time for a few years but would like to take your business full time, or if you have been working full time but some things just aren't working the way you want them to; I believe I can help.

I'm a self-taught photographer, who have spent the last decade fine tuning my wedding photography business, being my own boss, photographing weddings all over the world (including Texas, France, Norway and Scotland) and created a niche business documenting elopements for adventurous nature lovers right here on the lovely island of Ærø in Denmark where I live.

I work with people who I connect with and who inspire me to create at my highest level. That journey has given me lots of beautiful experiences, inspiring collaborations, exciting travels, valuable lessons and creative freedom. And I am at that luxurious place in my business where I turn down jobs left and right. Sounds too good to be true? Well it's the truth, and I know you can do it too, if you are willing to put in the time and dedication.

My work has been published on all the big international wedding blogs, and in both 2015 and 2016 I was voted Top 3 Wedding Photographers in Scandinavia by The Norwegian Wedding Blog.

Now, after 10 years, things are flowing effortlessly. I can capture images I love without even thinking about it. My dream clients are flocking to me. And I have a tried and true workflow that has saved me hours and hours.

But, I am seeking new challenges and a new path ahead. And before I leave the business, I want to share as much as possible with you.

All the knowledge it took me 10 years of incredibly hard work, sleepless nights, and an embarrassing amount of tears to aquire. If I can save you just a fraction of the heart ache, stress and overwhelm that I experienced, it will be all worth it to me.

I want to help you start growing your wedding photography business in a way that service your clients and nurture your life and artistic expression. I have no desire to leave this business holding on to my hard earned lessons, and I have no secrets.

But all of this depends on you actually implementing the processes and following through on the lessons I pass on to you. I am giving you a road map of how I got to where I am now, so you can get there faster, but you still have to do the work.

It's going to be tough. Building a photography business from the ground is tough because it all feels so personal. But I know you can do it.

In my experience, this is what it takes to build a great wedding photography business:

- Creating good work on a consistent basis.

- Creating a coherent visual brand and online presence.

- Asking yourself the tough soul-searching questions that create a clear vision for your path ahead. You will never be happy in your business if you are pursuing someone else's or the industry's version of success.

- Getting yourself organised and streamlining your workflow so you stop wasting so much time.

- Shaping a consistent experience for your clients from start to finish... and beyond.

- Being more personal online and super specific about who you are and what kind of experience you offer so you attract your dream clients.

- Discovering or re-igniting your creativity and sources of inspiration.

- Creating boundaries for yourself and avoid burn-out and stress.

- Learn to let things go and outsource, so you can put time and energy into the things that will actually bring you closer to where you want to be.

- Getting rid of confusion, overwhelm and negative thought patterns.

- Understanding the difference between price and value, and what you need to charge to actually grow a long term sustainable business.

I believe you can create a business that sustains you and gives you the freedom of choice you desire without "crushing it" 24/7 or hustling like a "rock star".

I know from personal experience what stress and depression does to your body and mind. I know what it is like to juggle motherhood and business and still taking care of yourself ( I started my business the same year that I gave birth to my first child). I know what it is like to be a sensitive soul and an introvert in a modern world that celebrates fame and self-publicising. And I know that there are just as many versions of success as there are people in the world.

Maybe you would like to turn your part time business into your full time job? Maybe you would like to turn your passion and hobby into a part time business combining it with a no-nonsense "regular" part time job to free your creative impulses from the pressure of sustaining you or your family financially? Maybe you create to get the opportunity to travel and work from wherever? Maybe you feel alone in your creative endeavour and want to build a small team? Maybe what you desire most in life is more alone time and prefer to keep your business a one person show indefinitely?

I can help you figure all of this out and help you set a course towards making those dreams a reality.

"Starting a wedding photography business is a exciting but also scary adventure! I started my business because I loved to take photos; but I quickly realized that being a wedding photographer is so much more than just pushing the button; there are hundreds of things you need to think of and take care of in your business that has nothing to do with shooting itself. It can be very overwhelming - and sometimes lonely - figuring all these things out on your own. Luckily, I could turn to Camilla for guidance - and she has been an amazing adviser and friend throughout this journey of mine. She has provided me with the utmost caring mentoring; answering any question I might have; big or small; both about the more practical structure and organization of my business, and questions of more emotional character as well as helping me understand how to price my work."

"First of all, Camilla's photography is beautiful and seeing how artistically she appraoch wedding photography is when I started dreaming of learning from her.
Her presence throughout the whole process of my learning - even from the moment she came to greet me with her children as I departed the ferry - was so encouraging and supporting.

Camilla's instructions were clear and easy to follow, the schedule for those two days of training was filled with activities that were so varied: from styling, to shooting, writing for social media, discussing running a business.
I liked that I could see how she approach the creative side of her business and how she interact with people she works with, myself included. To be able to shoot alongside her in a styled model shoot was an invaluable experience; one I learned from a lot and was recalling on the shoots I did on my own after the workshop. She taught me how you use the light you have to work with (daylight) which very often is a challenge if you live in a country where the weather is unpredictible.

I think what made the most impact on me through the whole process of learning from her is how efficient and effective she is, without loosing sensibility.
I was really impressed how much she was able to cover in two days of teaching.

Most of all, even though the days were so intense in the different topics, she created a relaxed and very welcoming atmosphere. The perfect environment to learn.

What I value in Camilla a lot is how attentive she is (even after the course) and that no task was missed out (we created an entirely new website for me) and left me with a plan of action (it’s good to know step by step what you need to do in order to progress).
Her refreshing sense of self awarness and a no-bullshit attitude are the things that I was drawn to; what inspires me most is that she has made it possible to successfully run her own business doing what she loves (even in a remote place), listening to her gut feeling, and embrace whatever new possibility approaches.

I felt that I had discovered a whole new world in Aeroe. A new way of seeing things.
It’s a gift that through my passion for photography I got to discover such beautiful and unspoiled place, and big hearted and interesting people.

A hearfelt THANKS for everything, for helping me work towards making what I dream about a reality."

“Camilla is calm, thorough and incredibly knowledgable in her field, she has helped me enormously in my approach to wedding photography and my business as a whole. Getting the best out of social media for my photography does not come naturally to me but with Camilla’s advice, support and guidance I now feel much more adept at promoting my work in this way."
