Welcome to the 7th and final Module of The Wedding Photography Business School!!
I am so excited for you to have made it this far! Well done!
This week’s training is all about that elusive balance between work and life. It is all about realising that you have an obligation not just to yourself and those you love, but also to your clients to take good care of yourself. If you are a one-person operation your entire business depends on your mental, emotional and physical health.
We're gonna dive deep into the kind of mindset it actually requires to run your own business on a daily basis, and focus on productivity instead of busyness, and outsourcing instead of overwhelm.
But before we get started let's get real for a second:
You can't control other people or their actions or reactions. The only thing you can control is how you yourself respond to outside circumstances. You control your thoughts and what you focus on. When you're running your own business, it often feels like you’re not in control, like other people are pulling the strings and you are just trying to catch up.
Do you ever feel that way about your business?
I did! For years! And occasionally still do at times where I forget to be intentional and just put things on auto-pilot. Then I start to feel shitty and tired and stressed. And suddenly I realise that I am letting external circumstances run my business. And as soon as I start taking charge again, over my brand, my message, and my schedule, I instantly feel better.
If your thoughts or emotions right now are centered on feeling “behind” or “overwhelmed” or “not good enough” for any reason whatsoever, please stop right now. Be kind to yourself. You won't be able to change your whole business or life overnight. Real change happens in small incriments through daily choices.
And I know you're on your way!
Now before you get sad (or happy) that we’re nearing the end of this course ;-) remember that you've still got an amazing bonus section waiting for you.
Thank you, as always, for investing in this course and in yourself, and allowing me the great honor to be a part of your creative journey.
Now, scroll down and get started on this final but very essential module.
